Santander Group returns to Formula 1 in partnership with Ferrari, the most successful team in the history of the sport, having won a total of 16 Constructors' and 15 Drivers' Championships.

Santander's goal is to support Scuderia Ferrari on the road to a more sustainable future. As the world's leading lender for renewable energy, Santander and its specialized teams will offer Scuderia Ferrari a broad range of solutions to support its plans to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030, and advise it on ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) projects.

Formula 1 has also announced it plans to be a net zero emissions competition by 2030. Earlier, in 2026, F1 plans to unveil a new engine that will be carbon neutral and use advanced sustainable fuel.
